WINTER JAM!!!

Wow! That's about all that I can say about Winter Jam last Friday night! It was awesome! I haven't had that much fun in a while! Well, I guess I said a bit more than "wow" about it! :-)

The bands were as follows: Britt Nicole, a relative newcomer in the world of Christian music; Newsong, who hosted the event and were awesome!; Sanctus Real, another awesome group; some guy they called Andre the Hollywood Cowboy (he was ok. he didn't sing though. he just scared some guy by cutting styrofoam sticks with a whip); Hawk Nelson, they were wonderful!; John Morgan, a.k.a. Pres. Bush! (yes, there was a Bush impersonator. and he was so cool!); then came Steven Curtis Chapman, he was playing with two of his sons and two other brothers; then came Jeremy Camp!!!!!! And again, as I said before, IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

GRRRROOOOWWWWWLLL---COUGH, COUGH

Some of you know what I'm talking about.

For those of you who don't: guess what!!! I was in a play last week! and it was so much fun! The play was called Beauty Lou and the Country Beast. It was an adaptation of the original Beauty and the Beast. This version was geared a little bit more towards the younger crowd, like 6,7, and 8 year olds I would guess. But it was still fun to be in it!

As for the name of this post, for those who don't know, I was the beast in the play. I wore a very stinky, smelly (but almost cool-looking) mask that ended up rubbing my face raw (a fact I didn't discover until hot water from the shower hit the raw spots above my eyes. Yeah, that hurt.) and made me sweat more than a pro soccer player, and I also wore some even more stinky and smelly gorrilla gloves that were about 3 sizes too big. On top of all that, I wore a shirt that was about a size 3 or 4 XL, when I usually wear size large or medium, and a hat that was a bit too small. But it was still fun! I even got to jump off of the stage and scare the audience!

The play lasted only one week, so I miss it already. We did two shows on Saturday which were awesome!

Back to explaining the name of this post, being the Beast, I had to scare some people at different times. As you would expect, I wanted to give it my all! Unfortunately, when I did this, it caused me to lose my voice until today, Wednesday. This made me very sad and angry because it meant that I couldn't sing in church Sunday, and I also couldn't sing in choir practice on Monday. But things will be better next week!

How was everyone's Christmas and New Year? Mine were wonderful! Except for the fact that my mom got pneumonia on Christmas Eve. Other than that, it was great!

Finally, a new Post!

Hey guys and girls!

First off, I apologize. I admit that I have acted like a fiend by not posting in over a month (or is that actually a favor to you guys?).

I just wanted to check up and see how everyone is doing. This post is going to be pretty boring. (But please don't stop reading!) I don't have a lot of time right now, so this post is also going to be pretty short. Soon I shall have a better post up. Maybe some pictures!

Question

Well, I figured that since my last post was about a month ago, I'd better post again.

As the title says, I have a question. Now this isn't just any question, no, it is a questions for any and every girl that reads this blog. I don't mean that guys can't answer too, but it is mainly asked for girls. In fact, I would actually like for guys and girls to answer and give me their different opinions.

Now you might be wondering what this mysterious question is so I will tell you, er, that is, ask you.

What do girls and guys see as a gentleman? Meaning, what things that guys do do you (guys and girls) see as traits of a gentleman? My parents have tried to raise me as a gentleman, and frankly, seeing how some other guys act, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Finally, A New Post!

Hey guys! I finally got a chance to post! Or, rather, I finally took the time to post! I don't really have all that much to say in this post. I was just tired of seeing my spoiler warning post up! Soccer signup is in two days!!!!!! I can't wait! And I'm so sad because this will hopefully be my next to last season. Now, you might wonder why I am so sad but hopeful that this my next to last season. Well, next May, I will be trying out for Wallace State's soccer team!!! And because of my age, I could actually play fall of 2007 for West Jefferson. But if I make Wallace's team (which I hope to do!) then I can't play fall of 2007 for West Jefferson. So, I guess it all works out!
